Water Aerobics
Looking for a low impact, high energy workout? Well, then look no further. Our classes are great for pregnant women, rehabilitation after surgery, or anyone looking for a unique workout. With a variety of instructors and workouts, there is a class for everyone! Your first class is free, so what are you waiting for?
Cost: $4 daily or $30 for Monthly Aquacize Pass
Monday - Friday 9:45-10:45am
Aqua Zumba With Sacchia: Tuesday - 9:45-10:45am.
Evening Classes: Tuesday and Thursday from 5:45-6:45pm.
Saturday Class: 11:15-12:15pm
Lifeguard Certification Courses
Currently for the Summer Season, there will be NO Courses available.
Please check back after 7 September 2013.
When classes are available, you can sign-up ONLINE , over the Phone or at Anderson Aquatics Center.

Prerequisites:
- Minimum age 15
- Swim 300 yards continuously (Front Crawl & Breaststroke)
- Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10 pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the water without using a ladder or steps, within 1 minute 40 seconds.
- 2 Minute Tread in Deep water without the use of hands
Cost: $145 which includes Course Book & CPR Mask.
Failure to complete prerequisites will result in forfeiture of $50 of the course cost.
Water Safety Instructor Course:
Water Safety Instructor Certification: If you are atleast 16 years old and a proficient swimmer, you can become an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Learn to teach children and adults safety and confidence in and around the water as well as be able to present various safety presentations.
Prerequisites:

Minimum age 16

Ability to perform the following strokes for 25 yards each at a Level 4 or better skill level; Front Crawl, Back Crawl, Sidestroke, Breaststroke, Elementry Backstroke, Butterfly(15 yrds)

Float and Tread in deep water for one minute.
