The Outdoor Recreation Equipment Checkout Center offers a one-stop rental facility for all your recreational and rental needs. We have the perfect items for your unit organizational day, backyard party, or weekend recreational getaway. Items available include: canoes, fishing boats, ski boats, pontoon boats, campers, camping equipment, sports equipment, outdoor games, lawn and garden equipment, and picnic and parties equipment. In addition, the center offers outboard motor repair services and storage of RV's and boats for long and short term.
Authorized patrons include Active duty military and their families, retirees and their families, reservist, and DoD civilians and their families.

Hours of Operation (June - August)
Mon - Thu 9am - 4:30pm, Fri 9am - 6pm, Sat 9am - 12pm
All gaoline motorized boats, campers and travel trailers are only issued Mon - Fri.
Closed federal holidays . No issues or returns accepted 30 minutes prior to closing on large items such as boats and campers.

RENTAL POLICIES
Daily Weekday Rates Applies to all equipment checked out Monday through Friday and returned within 24 hours or 30 minutes prior to closing on Friday, whichever comes first.
Daily Weekend Rates - Applies to all equipment checked out on Friday returned on Monday. Price is for one day on the weekend, but since we are not open, you are charged for only one day. Items not returned 30 minutes prior to closing Friday will be charged the weekend rate.
Weekly Rates – Call for weekly rates.
Late Returns – Length of reservation/usage may be extended by calling the Center before the original turn in time. If item is already reserved for the following day – no extension will be given. If an extension is given, you will be responsible for the normal daily fees. FAILURE TO CALL AND GET AN EXTENSION WILL RESULT IN A DAILY RATE INCREASE EQUAL TO 50% OF THE DAILY RATE TO INCLUDE ITEMS RETURNED MORE THEN 30 MINUTES LATE. Late fees will continue to accumulate until the items are returned. Possession constitutes use.
Payment – All fees for rental equipment must be paid in full upon pick-up of the equipment. VISA, MasterCard, Cash or Check is accepted. Failure to pay in full at time of pick-up will result in the reserved items being cancelled and a forfeit of the reservation deposit.
Cleaning of Equipment – All equipment must be returned clean. Equipment returned unclean will be charged a minimum $30 cleaning fee for each item or may be refused turn-in.
Repairs of Equipment – Equipment is not authorized to be repaired or serviced without prior approval from the Center. Equipment repaired without approval will be at the customer expense.
Damaged or Lost Equipment – Customers must thoroughly inspect all items before departing the Center to insure the items are clean, complete, and in good working order. DEFICIENCIES NOT LISTED ON THE RENTAL CONTRACT OR INSPECTION FORM WILL RESULT IN THE CUSTOMER BEING HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DAMAGES OR MISSING ITEMS.
Accident or Stolen Equipment – The customer is responsible for obtaining an official accident or police report for any equipment involved in an accident or stolen.
Reservations – Reservations are accepted Monday – Friday up starting 30 days prior to the date needed on all items. Reservations require an advance payment equal to the weekday rate. The advance payment is non-refundable if cancelled less then 7 days prior to the scheduled pick up date. 75% of the advance reservation payment will be refunded if cancelled before close of business 7 days prior to the scheduled pickup date. No refund will be given if item is returned before the date/time specified on the reservation.
Boater Safety Class – In order to rent any boats with a gasoline engine you must have attended a boater safety class. Classes are available on-line free of charge through
The Boat U.S. Foundation. Upon completion bring your certificate and a card will be issued by the Center. In addition, the Center offers a class Tuesday through Thursday for a $3 fee.
Travel Trailers Towing Inspection – In order to rent any travel trailers you must have your vehicle inspected prior to renting for: towing capacity, hitch rating and light hook-up.
Restricted Issues on Saturday - Due to required pre-safety/mechanical inspection and detail operation instructions all gaoline motorized boats, campers and travel trailers are only issued Mon - Fri. These items may be picked up on Friday for the weekend at no additional cost.
