The Hansen Thrift Store is located inside The Hansen Center (between the Gammon Gym and Auto Crafts Center). The Thrift Store offers items for sale that include military and civilian clothing, fashion accessories, items for children, household appliances, furniture, and electronics. If you have any of these items that you have outgrown or no longer need, you may donate them or turn them into cash by consigning them to The Hansen Thrift Store.
The Hansen Thrift Store makes it very easy to consign items. The price of each item to be consigned will be determined by you and the Thrift Store.
People who may consign at the Thrift Store are:
• Military personnel, active duty reservist, national guardsmen, retirees and their families.
• Civilian employees of Fort Knox and their family members who can show proof of their relative's employment at Fort Knox.
• Retired civilian employees of Fort Knox and their family members who can show proof of their relative's retired status.
Of course, you may also donate items. Donations are taken at all times during normal hours of operation at the Hansen Thrift Store.
